TELEVISA N+
Mexico City Studio G, 2024
work completed for Clickspring Design
This Mexico City studio for N+ is subdivided into two distinct broadcast spaces, with the larger portion accommodating a primetime, hard news set meant for a national audience.
We use bold, angular planes softened by the elegance of curves to frame the main LED array. These forms, which intersect as they wrap the floor and ceiling, become a signature, commanding presence and establish the scale of the space while adding rich tones and geometric complexity. Angles throughout the set reference those found in the N+ logo, and the brand mark is further abstracted into a perimeter wall texture washed with color-shifting light.
The studio’s visual flexibility stems from video graphics and lighting tones, but is further enhanced by the variety of unique positions for stand-up presenters.
The smaller of the two sets, intended for quick news updates, carries a decidedly less formal language and more modest scale. Its scenic elements likewise reference the angularity of the N+ logo, and here, texture, material, and detail combine to exude a sense of vibrancy.
