W.0 RACING

Co-founding the team W.0 Racing in 2023 presented me with the opportunity to overlap two passions, design and cycling — one of the first needs of a new team is apparel: an identifiable kit.

Aiming to visually stand out from the local peloton, the W.0 kit layers two forms of gradient: a vivid color shift from blue to yellow and graduated linework graphics. The artwork, a geometric abstraction of a T-rex (strong legs, tiny arms), is scaled to wrap across the front and back of the jersey, further abstracting it from any one vantage point. What remains is a strong, consistent presence of diagonal lines emphasizing motion and dynamism, also key components of racing.
